Hi. I get an unlimited number of these errors from X11. I've looked
about and am still scratching my head. Has anyone else ran across
this yet or what am I doing wrong? This did work under an older
package set around Jul 8 2010.
(EE) intel(0): Failed to pin xv buffer
This problem affects many players: vlc, mplayer, ... . mplayer was
easy to test with and as such it has shown to be an X11 issue, not
a player issue:
mplayer -vo help
MPlayer SVN-r31746-snapshot-4.2.1 (C) 2000-2010 MPlayer Team
Available video output drivers:
*fails* xv X11/Xv
*works* x11 X11 ( XImage/Shm )
Note: Xorg works fine, just not video playback.
