Though the initial instructions about the jpeg upgrade were questionable at best, the current description is accurate and will resolve any future problems. You can of course reduce the amount of work by figuring out which ports still link with libjpeg.so.9, using ldd on /usr/local/bin/* and /usr/local/sbin/*, grep and pkg_info -W. pkg_updating -d 20090719 jpeg will show the UPDATING entry. -- Mel
