https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D230101 Bug ID: 230101 Summary: [PATCH] Enable ls colors when COLORTERM is defined Product: Base System Version: CURRENT Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Some People Priority: --- Component: bin Assignee: bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: dfrg@xsmail.com Created attachment 195523 --> https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=3D195523&action= =3Dedit Enable colors when COLORTERM defined Color output is currently supported for ls via the CLICOLOR environment variable which is unique to both the FreeBSD project and that particular binary. The defacto standard is COLORTERM and is set by all terminal emulators deri= ved from rxvt or those based on vte (the majority). Attached patch enables color output for interactive shells started within t= he above terminal emulators. All others, in particular system console and non-interactive shells, remain unchanged. It's my first patch so apologies if the format isn't exactly as required. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
