In chapter 2 of the handbook where shows the link to floppies for a new install it only links to the 5.1 floppies, I would think this should link to 4.9 and maybe have a choice to get the 5.x floppies? This link may account for allot of the messages on comp.unix.bsd.freebsd.misc from new users who are having problems with there first install of 5.1..
