first process accounting in /etc/rc.conf edit the line accounting_enabled = "YES" every router I have dealt with has had the ability to do per IP accounting.. might want to look into that. Otherwise set up a machine running routed/gated with a bunch of nic's on it and just look at the thruput on each card. also keeps people from intruding on others address space.. :) on purpose or by accident. joe@thebestisp.com -----Original Message----- From: Paul Stewart <paul@kawartha.com> To: freebsd-isp@freebsd.org <freebsd-isp@freebsd.org> Date: Sunday, June 14, 1998 10:13 AM Subject: cgi cpu cycles consumed >Hi there... > >We have quite a few clients looking to host their own CGI software on our >servers however we need to establish guidelines on how much CPU cycles/RAM >usage they can consume and then setup a billing cycle for overages. > >Is there an easy method of tracking a user's CPU usage and RAM usage?
