Hi. I am new to freeBSD. I installed this week. There was a problem between ftp and libftp that caught me. I have made a simple patch. I was told that after making a PR that I should also send something to a list, just to give people a heads up. If that was incorrect, I apologize, in advance, for inappropriate email. I'm new and I know it. My guess is that a better patch would be to have ftp use libftpio so that you don't have two separate tests for FTP_PASSIVE_MODE again, but who knows what that involves. -r Forwarded message: > From FreeBSD.org!gnats Thu Apr 20 15:40:19 2000 > Date: Thu, 20 Apr 2000 14:40:00 -0700 (PDT) > Message-Id: <200004202140.OAA76551@freefall.freebsd.org> > To: ripper@nmia.com > From: gnats-admin@FreeBSD.org > Subject: Re: bin/18120: inconsistent interface between ftp and libftpio.a > Reply-To: gnats-admin@FreeBSD.org, freebsd-bugs@FreeBSD.org > In-Reply-To: Your message of Thu, 20 Apr 2000 14:38:27 -0700 (PDT) > <200004202138.OAA76447@freefall.freebsd.org> > Sender: gnats@FreeBSD.org > > Thank you very much for your problem report. > It has the internal identification `bin/18120'. > The individual assigned to look at your > report is: freebsd-bugs. > > >Category: bin > >Responsible: freebsd-bugs > >Synopsis: inconsistent interface between ftp and libftpio.a > >Arrival-Date: Thu Apr 20 14:40:00 PDT 2000 > To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-current" in the body of the message
