Hi Folks! For the last week or so, I've been unable to build the Handbook. I think it's something to do with the fact that I have cvsup keeping /home/andrew/docproj/doc up to date, rather than the default location. When I do a 'make DOC_PREFIX=/home/andrew/docproj/doc' in /home/andrew/docproj/doc/en/handbook I get : Script started on Wed Jun 9 22:06:40 1999 sh-2.02$ pwd /usr/home/andrew/docproj/doc/en/handbook sh-2.02$ make _DOC_PREFIX=/usr/home/andrew/docproj/doc/ /usr/local/bin/jade -V html-manifest -ioutput.html -c /usr/home/andrew/docproj/doc//share/sgml/catalog -c /usr/local/share/sgm l/docbook/dsssl/modular/catalog -c /usr/local/share/sgml/docbook/catalog -c /usr/local/share/sgml/jade/catalog -d /usr/home/an drew/docproj/doc//share/sgml/freebsd.dsl -t sgml handbook.sgml /usr/local/bin/jade:E: cannot open "/usr/local/share/sgml/docbook/catalog" (No such file or directory) /usr/local/bin/jade:/usr/home/andrew/docproj/doc//share/sgml/freebsd.dtd:54:63:W : cannot generate system identifier for public text "-//OASIS//DTD DocBook V3.1//EN" /usr/local/bin/jade:/usr/home/andrew/docproj/doc//share/sgml/freebsd.dtd:55:13:E : reference to entity "orig-docbook" for which no system identifier could be generated /usr/local/bin/jade:/usr/home/andrew/docproj/doc//share/sgml/freebsd.dtd:54:0: entity was defined here /usr/local/bin/jade:/usr/home/andrew/docproj/doc//share/sgml/freebsd.dtd:62:24:E : parameter entity "cptr.char.mix" not defined <lots of similar messages cut> /usr/local/bin/jade:/usr/local/share/sgml/docbook/dsssl/modular/html/dblink.dsl: 18:3:E: Link to missing ID 'staff' *** Error code 1 Stop. Script Finished I've tried adding the doc/share/sgml/catalog file into $SGML_CATALOG_FILE in case jade needs to check that for something, but it made no difference. I'm fairly sure that the problem is due to a change made fairly recently, because I've been able to build the docs with no problems before and I have the docproj port installed. I'd appriciate any suggestions. Many thanks! --- Andrew Boothman <andrew@cream.org> http://sour.cream.org Unmetered Telecoms.
