Synopsis: [usb] [hang] Kernel freezes when writing a file to an ex2fs filesystem on a usb disk State-Changed-From-To: open->feedback State-Changed-By: gavin State-Changed-When: Mon Aug 31 11:18:27 UTC 2009 State-Changed-Why: To submitter: It sounds like this may not be a USB problem, but may be a problem with ext2fs. Do you still see the problem with newer versions of FreeBSD? Is there any way you can verify that the same action on a disk not attached via USB also shows the same problem?
