The daemon screen saver was being tested in the 3.0-CURRENT tree at
the time 2.2.2 was released. It was added to the 2.2.x source tree
sometime after that. It is included in 2.2.5-RELEASE.

It shouldn't have appeared in the installation menu of the 2.2.2
CD-ROM. But, it appears that its name somehow slipped into there...

The daemon saver of the current form cannot be compiled and installed
on the 2.2.2 system. Back-porting the latest source to 2.2.2 is not
impossible, but not easy either. I wonder if it's worth the trouble,
 now that 2.2.5 is out...
