The SBPro does not support 44KHz recording. You should be able to do close to 22KHz, though. In a program just use the SNDCTL_DSP_SPEED ioctl. In vrec, use the -s option. I have got a SBPro v.3.1 + FreeBSD 2.1.5-R. I've tried to make some samplings (cat /dev/audio > sample.au) - it works perfectly. But it's only 11 MHz (maybe 8 MHz:) mono sampling ... how to tell FreeBSD to make a 22/44 MHz samples ? Greetz, D0c.
