Hum, yeah.  Don't forget that send-pr is part of gnats.  It is very
possible that other users of gnats (except for FreeBSD) might like
this change too.  If you come up with a patch to send-pr (which is a
shell script, and easy to read, by the limited look I had), would it
be too much to ask that you submit this to the gnats authors?
