Nate Williams <nate@mt.sri.com> says:

Aha! I think that we may be onto something here. The ThinkPad 760's
have a MWave soundcard/modem combo that are wired to use irqs 5 & 10
respectively.
So how can I force the pccards to use different irqs? If I just change
it in the pccard.conf it just refuses to assign the driver.
Oh, and here's what dmesg returns:
chip0: <Intel 82437MX mobile PCI cache memory controller> rev 0x01 on
pci0.0.0
chip1: <Intel 82371FB PCI to ISA bridge> rev 0x02 on pci0.1.0
pcic0: <TI 1130 PCMCIA/CardBus Bridge> rev 0x02 int a irq 255 on
pci0.2.0
pcic1: <TI 1130 PCMCIA/CardBus Bridge> rev 0x02 int b irq 255 on
pci0.2.1
I thought that the TI1130 was fully supported, especially under
-current.
Anyway, thanks for all the help so far.
