Greetings,

I have installed FreeBSD (3.2 Release) on a Micron P90, which has been upgraded to 180MHZ with a Pentium OverDrive Processer with MMX. This system previously was running Windows 98 with no problems.

After installing FreeBSD, noticed that the system clock is running fast (~ +45 s every 5 min) . When booting Timecounter "i8254" reports 1193182 Hz and Timecounter "TSC" reports 156956333 Hz. I think that TSC should be 180 Mhz or so.

How do I get this system to run on time? It ran fine under Windows 98! Considering hacking the code for calculating TSC to report 180MHz. Where should I look?

Thanks,

Jeff Kyser
