Yeah, I know that ;) What I'm asking is whether folks think it might be an idea to keep the -w since then anyone with a pre-4.5 (ish?) machine will be able to follow the examples as well, since at the moment sysctl just ignores -w. If nobody does, that's cool too, but you obviously don't agree else you wouldn't have committed the change ! Having said that, I've just checked and this option was deprecated on RELENG_4 over a year ago, so maybe we should be forcing people into date. I don't care, I'm just asking what folks think.
