That being said, there are issues with the port infrastructure tying into /usr/src where [if you're using the PORTS_MODULES feature and] compiling using an older world I've seen stuff fall apart at build because it's detecting OSVERSION or something else incorrectly. Haven't spent time tracking this down because it's virtually a non-issue if you install stuff manually after you boot your new kernel. It's annoying, but easy to work around. Having the error message and your build details would help though, as always. Thanks, -Garrett
