Hi,
I cvsupped current from a few hours ago and now I am getting the fatal
traps when doing any networking-related stuff ...
Setting hostname: ltantony.
Fatal trap 12: page fault while in kernel mode
cpuid = 0; apic id = 00
fault virtual address = 0x1000100
fault code = supervisor read, page not present
instruction pointer = 0x8:0xc0517965
stack pointer = 0x10:0xd7e70b1c
frame pointer = 0x10:0x60
code segment = base 0x0, limit 0xfffff, type 0x1b
= DPL 0, pres 1, def32 1, gran 1
processor eflags = interrupt enabled, resume, IOPL = 0
current process = 213 (ifconfig)
kernel: type 12 trap, code=0
Stopped at rt_msg2+0x80: cmpb $0,0(%edx)
db>
I will try rebuilding the kernel again without -O to see if it makes a
difference.
