SMP sparc64 doesn't boot atm, hence no testing on it. A month or two is a long time for such serious breakage to go unfixed. You don't have any idea where this is happening? Getting down to only pentiumpro and later SMP boxes working things have a good chance of going out broken in 5.0-RELEASE.
