So presumably you mean summer in the Northern Hemisphere, right?  :-)

We plan for releases every four months.  You can look here to see how
well we've adhered to that:

http://www.FreeBSD.org/releases/

You could maybe look for 4.6-RELEASE around May 2002.  The CD sets
typically lag the actual release dates, but not by more than a few
weeks.
