I'm also running 4.6-stable and regularly use Enterasys/Cabletron
RoamAbouts.
I haven't noticed any support issues.
I have the wi driver in the kernel, and the default pccard.conf from
4.6-release.
So I'm not quite sure what you're missing :)
If you figure it out, be sure to let us know what was going on.
