A snap of... 2.1? 2.2? } What do you also mean by `pre-snap'? :) 1) I'd like it to be for 2.2-SNAP. 2) pre-snap was meant to mean, that just the kernel and the sysinstall++ binary have to be there. Since building a boot floppy requires a "make release", it would take too long on my small system. Now, if you manage to build a SNAP boot floppy, (even if the full SNAP isn't complete at that time), I'd like to have access to the boot floppy with the -current PCI probe code compiled into the kernel. I'd really like to have verbose PCI probe output from the -current pcibus.c. This would let me know, whether there are further changes required to make the 2.2 PCI probe support the Compaq ...
