Hi, I installed ntop 3.0 from the ports. I am running 5.2.1-10 But /usr/local/etc/rc.d/ntop.sh start does not create a daemon, ..... instead. ntop starts a connection to 131.114.21.22 on port 80. making a connection to that ip it appears its the website of Luca Deri himself. Very nice of course, but i hoped ntop would start sniffing and opening a webserver on port 3000. What is going on? Any hints? Bye, Mipam.
