Hi I got some time ago same symptoms on 7-STABLE on Abit IP35-E.. when I upgraded to latest BIOS available from ABIT, and rebuilt kernel+userland from todays CVS.. it boots allright. Also I`ve set in BIOS those options that configure Mouse and Keyboard behaviour to "OS" option (defaults to "BIOS").
