This is the same problem I mentioned to you with USB memory devices -
but those work - if I recall your advice was to not remove it before I
unmounted it :-)

Incidentally, while we're on the subject, its not possible to automount
USB devices, it seems, coz the appropriate device isn't fed through
devd.conf.
