Hello, I apologize if this has been asked or brought up here before but I couldn't find it, so here goes. I've used the above site to check ping times and troubleshoot connectivity issues in the past but hadn't used them in a bit. All of my FreeBSD servers (different data centers in different countries using different ethernet adapters) report 20-50% packet loss from this service from all of their IPv4 servers. IPv6 generally shows no packet loss. Using other ping services I see no packet loss, nor do I see them from one server to the next. Servers using Solaris or Linux do not have the same packet loss, even servers that are on the same /24 (or VM's in the same host!). Does anybody know the reason? More an intellectual curiosity than a functional issue as the problem does seem to be on their end. Thanks, and please Cc me on reply as I don't subscribe to this list. -- Jim Ohlstein "Never argue with a fool, onlookers may not be able to tell the difference." - Mark Twain
