Hi All

Im getting conflicting advice on what the best interleave is using freebsd
ccd for my news spool

the man page for ccd says news spool should be a large interleave BUT im
being told to use as small as i can by
another news admin.

current settings are
name interleave flags devices
ccd1 2048 none /dev/sd2e /dev/sd3e

thats 2 4.5gig seagate baracudas and gives me about 4-5 messages a sec
should soon be running 4 4.5 gig drives so that might help

this is running freebsd 2.2.2 and inn 1.5.1

so whats the best interleave?
what flags should i use?

cheers in advance
