>That's just plain scary ;-) Although I guess Arcnet does have it's niche >applications. niche now (reliable, cheap, shielded & transformer-coupled for nasty e/m environments), but in the 80's, Novell basically built itself up to 80% market share and the LAN marketpalce on ARCnet´s back, while Ethernet was playing stupid linear bus topology games.
