I have an odd situation: I just installed a FreeBSD 9.1 system yesterday, and it always stops that the "Press [Enter] to boot" prompt without doing the 10-second countdown. Prior to disabling the beastie menu, it would sit at the menu and wait for Enter. /boot/loader.conf: geom_mirror_load="YES" beastie_disable="YES" autoboot_delay="10" I've checked /boot/defaults/loader.conf, and it matches that on a system that boots normally. Any ideas? Guyhome | help
