Just my 2 cents on this topic.

I can wait for a good clean working RELEASE with no known security
issues alot easier that I can deal with a release that has issues that I
am going to have to address. So core and security take your time and be
thorough to make this a golden release.

Again, just my $.02

Trust the computer industry to shorten Year 2000 to Y2K. It
 was this thinking that caused the problem in the first place.
