Well, the main problem you may experience is difficulties with mergemaster(8) after you install the ISO you downloaded and then try to upgrade to a future version. Your configuration files will lack detailed $FreeBSD$ strings and this will confuse mergemaster. This is more trouble than it's worth though. The answer is simple.
