It won't fix anything, it will hopefully just tell us what difference r357549 makes. So, first could you try it with vm.debug.uma_multipage_slabs="0", and then grep for "keg.*layout" in /var/log/messages and attach that somewhere, and then again with vm.debug.uma_multipage_slabs="1"?
