FWIW, which isn't very much- if there's a consensus to continue some support
for 3.X (or even 2.x) I'm prepared to maintain the things I'm supposed to
maintain now (which could use some improvement, yes) in those releases as
well (Fibre Channel, Tape). As a general contribution of effort, sorry, no.
