Hi Yes, i can definatly see a use for Windows NT for some applications that are not (yet ?) available on other systems. I want to be openminded and choose a solution that suits me. Whatever the OS. I don´t administer any machines (except for our DNS´s, and NT is horrible at that) It´s also a personal thing, and i relly like the idea of running free software anyway , with nothing important said as usual, im on my way home now take care all /john On Thu, 27 May 1999, =?iso-8859-1?Q?Markus_D=F6hr?= wrote: > > > I'm not trying to praise NT - just wanting some information > > > explaining why people should choose one OS over another. > > I can tell you we're running our SAP R/3 installation on NT servers with an > average uptime of 60 days and above.
