Dailey <matthew.l.dailey@dartmouth.edu> --- I restarted telegraf on my two test machines (one hardware, one VM), both running with Gleb's proposed patch, and neither one panicked! They had both been up for just over 10 days, running telegraf constantly. I've never been able to reproduce this on the VM, but the hardware one has always consisten= tly panicked after being up running telegraf for >8 days.
