Don't you need to do this in make, not >the shell? Err. You've lost me. The IS_INTERACTIVE test is a simple binary test. Nothing to do with the port name whatsoever. IS_INTERACTIVE is set in the Makefile of the interactive port, forcing bmake to skip it 'cos of the BATCH/IS_INTERACTIVE rules in bsd.port.mk. Or am I completely misunderstanding what you mean? Gary
