Synopsis: during installation fd0 is not getting recognised while copying bin files State-Changed-From-To: open->closed State-Changed-By: sheldonh State-Changed-When: Fri Jul 21 02:24:51 PDT 2000 State-Changed-Why: That message suggestes that you weren't in fact performing an FTP installation. It looks like you were actually trying to install of floppies. This course of action is all but hopeless, and an FTP installation is almost certainly what you actually wanted. When asked to select the installation mediamedium, be sure to select FTP. You should be prompted for network configuration details and an FTP site from which to install. http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=20064 To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-bugs" in the body of the message
