FreeBSD hal9000 6.0-BETA5 FreeBSD 6.0-BETA5 #1: Mon Sep 19 07:06:34 CEST 2005 root@hal9000:/usr/obj/mnt/atom/home/src/sys/HAL9000 amd64
>Description:
Can not make a libSOMETHING.so if it needs to link agains libsupc++ and libstdc++.
>How-To-Repeat:
Try compiling fltk2 from svn with ./configure --enable-shared
>Fix:
I've tried using gcc-4.0, but same thing happend. Then, I've added -fPIC to CFLAGS in /etc/make.conf and recompiled gcc-4.0, and it works. Maybe this is the solution for the system gcc.
