I have installed the Perl scripts which enable the Chimera WWW browser to
support the mailto protocol (and also postto, news, finger etc). These
were obtained from ftp://isri.unlv.edu/pub/chimera/contrib. Unfortunately
mailto does not quite work right. The problem seems to be that the
generated mail message is malformed - the addressee and other fields are
prefixed by a '+' character. Consequently, sendmail fails to deliver the
message. I do not know the Perl language and I cannot tell if there is a
way to fix the mailto.pl script.

Can anyone suggest a solution for this problem?
