After upgrading from FreeBSD 4.3-STABLE to FreeBSD "4.4-PRERELEASE" (as of last week sometime), I find that my "wi" device (a Lucent Orinoco card plugged into a Lucent ISA<->PCMCIA adaptor) occasionally logs the following error message: /kernel: wi0: timeout in wi_seek to 2021/0; last status 4000 This error is printed by "if_wi.c" in "/usr/src/sys/i386/isa". (The same device_printf was in the old (4.3) code, but - for some reason - never got triggered then.) Has anyone else encountered this? Is it a known issue? Ross.
