Ok, so my patch didn't help.  I was hoping it would fix that leak.

I wonder if you could share output from "vmstat -o" while the system is in =
that
state, i.e., around half of RAM has "disappeared".  Note that the output wi=
ll
contain path names, so might be a bit sensitive.  If you prefer, please feel
free to mail me the file directly.
