Hi, I'm trying to add a compaq tape (dds3) drive to a box, running 3.0-RELEASE #0. This drive is correctly picked up by the host adaptor on startup. I've recompiled the kernel, run makedev and I've got rsa0.0 - rsa0.4 and the corresponding ersa and nrsa devices, but all of these respond with "device not configured"... Is there anything else I have to do to make a tape device work? thanks gareth -- Gareth Klose Head of Infrastructure, Profero Ltd Studios 3/4, 134 Liverpool Road, London, N1 1LA mail:gareth@profero.com - phone: (020) 7700 9960 - fax: (020) 7700 9961 To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
