: :I also want to point out to all those people going "Aiee!" over the :idea of a compiler upgrade during a release candidate period that :David and I really, honestly haven't totally lost our minds here, we :just did a risk/reward assessment and it honestly came up in favor of :the upgrade. This stuff has been tested in -stable by multiple :individuals and if there's even the slightest whiff of trouble as a :result of these changes, they'll go straight out again. We don't, :however, expect any. : :- Jordan Hey, I don't suppose we could compile kernels with -O2 or -Os again after this upgrade? Pretty please with sugar on top? (ok ok, I know you can't bribe a piece of source code, I'm not *that* far gone!) -Matt To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe cvs-all" in the body of the message
