I plan to use qpopper to retrieve root's mail (which I have aliased to 'charles'). I will use my home lan to connect to the FBSD box from my Mac, and read the mail. "Charles" is indeed a valid user on the FBSD box. I ssh to that box as charles, and am logged in as charles right now.
