vmware2-2.0.4.1142 works fine not only on 4.6-PRERELEASE but on latest 4.6-RC. Easiest way to fix the problem could be: (1) to make world again or (2) to reinstall vmware2 or (3) both. It is also helpful for you to check the message you get when you enter these: "kldstat" "ifconfig vmnet1" "ngctl show vmnet_bridge" and so on.
