I dislike sending a "me too" along the list, however this is something
that has bothered me for along time. Installations from CD crawl to about
a 24KB throughput, untarring it is just as horrible, not to meantion using
cvsup with a blank /usr/ports! It would be much easier if there were not
tens of thousands of little files, but that's just my opinion.
