I concur. Correctness is always preferrable to speed. Look at the Human Genome Project supposedly being solved by a commercial company sequencing everything, and then expecting to be able to correctly sort it out later through pattern matching. Reminds me of Java garbage collection... PS: Cc: trimmed per JDP's request; hope I didn't drop anyone, since this sort of trimming is rightfully the job of the mailing list software's duplicate supression code.
