Hello, a smarter solution for your setup would be a usb-to-serial cable. A PL2303 (TTL) adapter would costs approximately 6 EUR. You can use it with Windows 7 and Putty. http://elinux.org/RPi_Serial_Connection http://www.exp-tech.de/usb-to-ttl-serial-cable-debug-console-cable-for-raspberry-pi Regards, On 16.11.2016 16:14, Krzysztof Kowalski wrote: > Hi, > I have only crossover Ethernet cable, freebsd-10.3-release@VirtualBox and > RPi B. > IMHO, I need to run dhcp server under freebsd@VB and setup RPi to use um0 > to connect by DHCP, to be able to ssh into RPi, am I correct?
