You had better look at a PVR250 or PVR350 card with on board mpeg
encoder or get more CPU, my AMD XP2000 can do real time full resolution
mpeg (1, 2, 4 whatever) encoding but nothing signaficantly slower will.
You might manage full resolution realtime to Nuppelvideo format
with that CPU and then recode to a more compact format at leisure.
