Card: ANA-6944A/TX

I cannot understand why this card ceases to
transmit/receive. If I manually issue ifconfig commands for
each of the ports then transmission restarts!!!!!!

Any clues as to what I should be looking for?

Current using de0,de1,de2
Routing is ON
