hi there, Is there a list of things that are normally under /usr/src, and don't get built or installed when the root issues a make world command in /usr/src example of expected answers: A1: where: /usr/src/release/* why: you have to cd there, and issue a 'make release' after setting CVSROOT, BUILDNAME, and CHROOTDIR variables. how: read the /usr/src/Makefile result: it will build a custom release after a very llong procedure, which you can put on your ftp site or writen to your home-built CDs. dependencies: needs the whole cvsup repository. see handbook or (URL) for cvsup. thanks very much. ===== MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
