-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi folks, I'm trying to introduce a friend who lives in a different state to the wonderful world of BSD. He's seen reports that there are problems with suspend/resume on his laptop (Toshiba Satellite 1115-S103), and he's also having installation problems (hangs after he skips the kernel configuration step). - From looking at mailing list archives, I gather the workaround for the installation problem is to disable the EISA bus. The last report of apm brokenness on Toshiba laptops I can find, however, was from almost a year ago. Does that mean it's been fixed since that time, or is it just that nobody's asked? :-) Thanks, ~Ben -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (NetBSD) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iD8DBQE+HHeSP3EgUnITKiERAij4AJ9hUu9bn8HJQ5tcDFKI6ejgZ3MdSACg6Kgv RoqV+0mDvO02Ke2aQ7G0UhE= =jn2n -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-mobile" in the body of the message
